One of them who is a diabetologist and a general physician Dr.Rajeev chaudhary and another is a gym owner and a trainer from Andheri west Sir.Ramesh mitre.

We came across some few important questions which can help bollywood and Indians during this pandemic situation.
Dr. Rajeev who has his clinic in malad west says "People shouldn't take this lightly... If it reaches to slum areas.. Then it would be very difficult to get control over it.

This disease is really threat for entire world". He shared few important charts to make it easy.

He also added, " Have plenty of fluids... Avoid uncooked food. Have boiled food.
Also during stay at home situation people who are diabetic can avoid high carb diet... Avoid fatty food... Keep a weight check.. Should do brisk walk and light weight exercises alteast 4days a week. Yoga can help too".

We are also sharing his address and contact information to connect to him personally.

But what type of exercise can keep you fit we have our very own gym instructor Ramesh mitre who shared some important information.

He says "As per the current situation it is advisable to avoid groups and if possible stay away from any steel items. If you are keen to workout, you can do free hand workouts like pushups and squats.
During this corona pandemic you can have a check on your weight if your diet is less than your regular diet because  your diet might have changed as per the current circumstances, your weight tends to drop  till 2 kg. For example if your weight is 60kg then you will have to intake minimum 60 to 70 grams of proteins.
For veg you will need to have a diet as per your body weight which includes paneer, cheez, carbs in small.amount like sweet patatoes, fruits  vegetables and salad.

Sir Ramesh mitre shares his interesting story of patience and karma which got him to success and glory.
I was inclined towards fitness from an early age. I could not even afford gym fees. At that time, there was a gym named chaitanya in dn nagr , it had a managment head named Mr mane. As i could not afford fees he offered me to waive off my gym fees in excahnge off doing small chores like opening the gym and filling  drinking water etc. By God's grace, today I am the managment head of the same gym. Today when he meets me in any event, he feels very proud of me that the students which are under my guidance comes at the top place in competitions. This is one part, I have struggled alot in my early stage.
But today hard work and focus has helped him to start his own gym in Andheri West d.n nagar.
Also coming back to steroids which bollywood celebs are inclined to, becomes a serious situation in later years of life. Ramesh mitre says"Supplemenst are totaly safe. Steroids should be avoided completly as you have taken a break from workout and you do not have proper intake of protein source like chicken or fish".
Filmtvtalks is thankful to both these real life heroes.

Pink the film review4.5

The beauty of Pink is that it is highly relatable. This case could happen with any of your friend and that’s why it’s powerful.
Ritesh Shah’s script rightly addresses the prejudices that are latched on to educated, self-earning, independently put up woman in Indian society. Be it the judgmental neighbors or well-educated men who think ‘a girl who drinks and wears short dresses is easily available’.
The setting is Delhi and while many may have a problem to that, there is no shame in admitting the fact that it is the sexual harassment capital of India.
Another amazing point the script raises is that of harassment against North Eastern girls. Andrea’s character even admits in the film to have been through much more eve-teasing. If that’s any less, Shah cleverly also puts across a strong point as to why in spite of being seven different states, we refer every person from Meghalaya, Sikkim, Manipur etc to be a North-Eastern. (Isn’t it a crime if you call a Tamil, Telugu or Malayali to be South Indian? Well, think about it!)
Shah’s script questions all the beliefs that society holds against modern girls. Also, why a ‘No’ means ‘No’ for any lady from being a sex worker, a wife, a girlfriend or friend.
How everyday situations play against the girls to prove their bad conduct is intelligently crafted.
Overall, a hard-hitting script that must force you to think and question.
Taapsee Pannu plays the strong Minal Arora with great effortlessness. She emotes perfectly for every scene and it’s as if a friend of yours is standing in that court being questioned for her lifestyle. This girl has potential to go way ahead!
Kirti Kulhari as Falak Ali does a brilliant job in one of the scenes where she breaks down in the court. She seems extremely comfortable and natural in her act.
Andrea Tariang does a fine job too but gets a slightly smaller role than the other two.
Amitabh Bachchan is a powerhouse performer in any given role. As Deepak Saigal, he does a brilliant job. It’s honestly great of him to choose this film and I’d really hope his star power forces people to watch it.
Piyush Mishra as the prosecution lawyer is on the top of his game.
Angad Bedi nails the bad boy act of Rajvir with just his arrogant stare. You wish to kill him with your bare hands!

Aniruddha Roy Chaudhary directs this film and one feels that he takes inspiration from producer Shoojit Sircar and also Kahaani director Sujoy Ghosh in his story telling style.
One of the best parts about this film is the fact that it visually never shows you the actual incident, up until the end credits. The story is based on the happenings and that mystery builds well in the first half.
Certain scenes are extremely powerful such as the one where Minal’s character lodges an FIR and the interaction that she has with the inspector.
Also, a scene where she is seen drying her undergarments in the balcony while a neighbor stares at the ‘pink bra’ with a judgmental look.
The background score by Shantanu Moitra is a piano note that keeps ticking, as though almost racing with your thoughts.
Amitabh Bachchan’s masked look as he takes morning walks in an overly polluted Delhi is justified in reality but for cinema, it looks creepy and could have been avoided. It does not contribute in any manner.
Songs are used in the background which blend perfectly.
Pink does have its moments where it digresses from the case just to teach a little moral science but I’d say that’s permissible considering our thick-brained audience.

Minal Arora (Taapsee Pannu), Andrea Tariang and Falak Ali (Kirti Kulhari) are independent working girls who share a rented apartment in Delhi.
On a fateful night in Surajkund Faridabad, the three girls encounter, three young men and after a mishap, Minal accidentally hits Rajvir Singh (Angad Bedi) with a bottle which hits him above the eye.
A deep cut and a bruised ego, leads Rajvir and his friends to harass the three girls further. After finding it difficult to cope, Minal lodges a police complaint against Rajvir and friends for molestation.
This step further backfires when Rajvir uses his influence and charges Minal for attempt to murder and extortion as a sex worker.
Will Deepak Saigal (Amitabh Bachchan) a senile advocate be able to fight Minal’s case for justice? Can the law punish Rajvir’s mentality and its impact on the society is what lies ahead.
SPECIAL FILM , SHOULD BE WATCHED 4.5/5*

RADHIKA APTE CONTROVERSIES

She has been making the industry sit up and take notice with her brave and unusual choice of films and her powerful talent. Not surprisingly, controversies seem to love her and keep popping up with alarming regularity. Earlier a nude video from Anurag Kashyap’s short film made for the international market had been leaked and was being circulated on a messaging app.

Swallowing her hurt, Radhika apte had chosen to put up a brave front, saying she didn’t have the time to react to such news. Feigning indifference to the leak, she maintained that the world had lots of unemployed people who were up to no good and she couldn’t waste her own time taking them to task. She added that since neither she nor her family get affected by these happenings, it didn’t bother her either.

When last year, some nude pictures purportedly of hers had started doing the rounds on the internet, she had brushed off the same tweeting, “You guys! If you’re going to get someone to pass off as naked me, she needs to look a lot more like me.” She’s got spirit, alright.
Not scared Radhika to tell it like it is, she even took on the Telugu film industry. In an interview with CNN IBN, she went ahead and called the Telugu film industry ‘patriarchal’ and ‘male chauvinist’. She even added that she had struggled the most with that industry and did not wish to make any more films there!
More recently a clip featuring her in a topless scene in ‘Parched’ made waves of the unsavoury kind again! And Radhika handled it deftly yet again. At a recent event she resorted to cool sarcasm when a reporter pointedly asked her about her leaked scenes from the film. She retorted that the question was wonderful and just what she had been waiting for! Then she pointed out that the clip had not leaked; the film had released all over the world, adding, “So do some research!” The film has been on Netflix in USA so it’s not leaked, she clarified, adding, “And what do you want me to say about that?” Touche!
When raw nerves are not being touched, Radhika is a calm and content soul. One of her favourite passions is travelling. She believes it helps you see and appreciate the world outside your country. This leads to observing, questioning and learning. Travel is a great teacher, she feels and likes to take off on her own every once in a while.
Currently she finds herself travelling between two cities – Mumbai where is based and London, where her husband, musician Benedict Taylor lives and works. Work also involves a great deal of travelling but it’s not the sort she enjoys. Shoot related work is restricted to driving between the hotel and the location which is no fun as the itinerary is planned. Radhika sees herself as a casual traveler rather than a tourist who is keen to see things. In her younger days, she has done her bit of wandering, including back-packing across Europe. Travelling is obviously also a good way to escape the intense attention that she receives too much of sometimes!

Akira filmreview 2.5*

Sonakshi Sinha Akira Hindi Movie Review

Sonakshi Sinha latest flick ‘Akira’ is released worldwide on 2nd September.Akira is directed by Kollywood Famous Director AR Murugadoss who is known in Bollywood for his movies Ghajini(2008) and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty(2014).These two movies are the superhit at the box office. Sonakshi Sinha is playing the lead role in this action drama flick.Konkona Sen Sharma, Anurag Kashyap,Teena Singh, and Amit Sadh are also seen in crucial roles .The film is produced jointly by AR Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios.

Akira is the story of the eponymous character (Sonakshi Sinha) who is forced at a very early age to learn to protect herself from the bad elements residing in our society. In a well shot sequence, her inspirational father (Atul Kulkarni) lets a very young Akira (Mishiekka Arora) choose martial arts over dance to make her strong enough to protect herself from goons.

This is sort of an un-highlighted turning point in the film. In defending herself from the bad guys, Akira lands herself in juvenile prison. Once she emerges, she and her mother are forced to move to Mumbai to her brother’s house, but she instead chooses to stay in a hostel.
The other part of the story involves a ganja-smoking ACP Rane (Anurag Kashyap) and his band of obedient officers. They spot a huge stash of money, and in their quest to keep it for themselves, end up killing a person. Then begin their unending efforts to keep all this a secret.

Their own colleague, an honest policewoman Rabiya (Konkona Sen Sharma) is handling this investigation, which takes no time to get Akira involved in all this. With the kind of story that Akira has, it possessed a lot of potential to make socio-political statements. But the writers have decided to take the easy, commerce-friendly road here. The film has an overabundance of drama in it, and this is not helped by the spoon-feeding dialogues that have characters doing their own expositions at times. At one point of time, Akira compares herself with Jesus Christ in the most cringy scene in the entire film.

That being the worst part of Akira, its best aspect lies in the blazing fast set pieces and allow you no time to stop and think. The story takes many turns, and their unexpected nature is what keeps you invested in the film. However, in this process, the script overlooks the characters and gives you nothing to get emotionally involved in.

 Star Performance

Sonakshi Sinha really doesn’t bring anything extraordinary to the table. Her acting is plain average and is given a bit of much needed shine by the action sequences.
As for Anurag Kashyap, he has come a long way from his first full-fledged role in Shagird. His controlled and natural demeanor gives his performance a Hollywood-ish aura that’s a good break from the very archetypal acting by others. His character seems pretty believable, and makes for a good villain to thrust our hate on.
Konkona Sen Sharma doesn’t have a big role to play length-wise, but hers is quite an important role. She does full justice to it with her usual acting style. A noteworthy performance from the other cast is that of Lokesh Vijay Gupte, who brilliantly portrays the corrupt cop in ACP Rane’s gang.

 Direction, Music

AR Murugadoss has focused all his attention in making Akira an outright entertainer. And in the process, he has chosen to overlook deeper implications that could have been pulled out of this story. He handles his action sequences well, but there’s no freshness here.
And there’s really a sense of ridiculousness that occurs towards the end, when the titular character compares herself to Jesus Christ.
The first 10 minutes of this film have been wonderfully shot and edited though. Lastly, the background score is to the point and well constructed.

Akira Ratings

Akira is an entertainer. It will surely manage to get you intrigued right from the start. But there’s too many theatrics to sit through here. Plus, the script as well as the acting performance are not strong enough to make you invested in the lead character, Akira. This film is a good one-time watch, but like we said, if you’re tired of clichéd situations and unneeded drama, you can skip this one. As an overall film for the masses, it deserves  2.5*

filmreview-RUSTOM4*

Rustom Pavri is a commander with the Indian Navy. He is a celebrated officer and is known for his unabashed nature when it comes to putting his country first.
Based on the 50s explosive case of K.M Nanavati, the makers issue a warning at start that it is not a biopic and only a fictional representation of the case.
On his early return from his duty, Rustom finds his wife Cynthia missing at home. He soon learns about her affair with popular car dealer Vikram Makhija (Arjan Bajwa). Hurt and angered by his wife’s infidelity, Rustom shoots Vikram with 3 bullet shots and even surrenders for his crime.
The case further starts to get twisted when, Rustom pleads not guilty in court. Is he guilty or not is what lies ahead.
In Rustom, the protagonist’s character is written with such a lot of sugarcoating that you hardly find him to be a murderer.
The film’s story has been crafted well with good twists, turning points. The cinematic liberties that the makers have taken are clearly crowd-pleasing and in the lieu to pack this film as an entertaining watch.
What they stray away from, is making this film a juicy tabloid affair which could’ve easily been the case considering the story’s basic elements involving an extra marital affair and a murder.
Sadly, to make it crowd pleasing, the writers give up on the opportunity to develop a point which was most obvious in the story. They fail to show how justified it is for a Navy officer’s wife to stray away into adultery given the circumstances. Instead, they portray a weak woman who is ashamed of her affair and also back it up by showing her lover to be a bast*rd which justifies her to be pulled into a situation and not because of choice. One would definitely question this to be different from the real case.
The side characters are much more well-written. We love the ‘maid’ who shouts in favor of her employer in court without the fear or knowledge of being held in contempt. Also Kumud Mishra’s tabloid owner character is extremely enjoyable.
The representation of a young kid selling the newspaper by giving juicy dialogues worked for me really well.
The courtroom scenes are dramatic and they even pull off self-jokes on their TV-serial type drama. This self-joke kind of thing seems like a very smart writing move.
Towards the climax, the plot falters hugely. The jury deciding their decision is a terrible scene.
Akshay Kumar as commander Rustom Pavri looks deliciously handsome in the uniform. I wouldn’t think of cheating on him! (Wink!). He does a good job all through, but in a few courtroom scenes, his straight-faced expressions and stance make him look he is absolutely in his character. In terms of performance, there is nothing challenging here for him, so he is good enough.
Ileana D’Cruz who plays the ‘sorry’ wife is like a doll in this film. Her perfect hair, perfect dressing and perfect tears are the only thing you will see. She has acted well.
Esha Gupta has a resting bitch-face all through the film. She is regiously seductive. The has acted very well.
Arjan Bajwa as Vikram Makhija is good.
Pavan Malhotra as the investigating officer on case does a good job.
Kumud Mishra in his teensy role too manages to impress us.
Tinu Suresh Desai had previously helmed 1920 : London and I was quite surprised at him coming up with a film like Rustom. Of course, if he would have actually delved into the case or the fact that it was the last one to have a jury trial, it would have been ambitious. He sticks to getting us a formulaic murder mystery drama that has its second half as the courtroom proceedings with a crowd pleasing climax.
In terms of execution, the interrogation scene worked out well. Also, the courtroom sequence is slightly witty and hence seems better than many that most Bollywood films have.
What doesn’t work is Arjan and Akshay’s hand to hand combat. It looks completely shady. Also the special effects used to portray the naval base, and certain to represent old establishments are not upto the mark.
The music of the film is already popular and Tere Sang Yara sounds beautiful in the movie hall.
For a regular movie goer, Akshay Kumar will be the highlight of this film and it will have to ride on his shoulders alone to work at the box office.

Rustom Review: The Last Word

Rustom is a one-time watch. , it makes up for a decent watch. I plead guilty that I suggest this film!Rustom is recommendable for a weekend watch. It’s best if you watch this murder mystery thriller without its references to the Nanavati case. I give it 4*/5
