#MyfatherIqbal A film tried to be from the heart gets confused to be a mass appealing film or a film to be made for film festivals.
I must say if it could have been and potrayed as a film for class and festivals it could have made wonders by winning few awards and crtics acclamation.

Movie based on a real life incident of an engineer from J & K’s PWD Department.
Directed by Suzad Iqbal Khan, well-known actor Narendra Jha plays the role of the protagonist.
ITS A STORY OF A BONDING BETWEEN THE SON AND FATHER AND THE SITUATIONS GOING WORSE IN KASHMIR.
DIRECTION IS WEAK WHEN IT COMES TO THE SCENES AND THE SHOT TAKINGS. THESE TYPE OF CONCEPTS NEED DIRECTION IN DEPT. CINEMATOGRAPHY IS NOT UP TO THE MARK WHERE IN SOME SCENES THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIGHTING.
THE FILM LACKS PRODUCTION VALUES WHICH BADLY AFFECTS THE FILM. THE FIRE GRAPHICS AND THE GUN SHOTS MAKES THE AUDIENCE DISCONNECTED.
MY PERSONAL OPINION IS THAT THIS TYPE OF SUBJECTS SHOULD BE ONLY MADE WITH HIGH STANDARDS BECAUSE THE AUDIENCES ARE WATCHING IT LIVE ON NEWS CHANNELS AND YOUTUBES.
DIALOGUES ARE OK. SCREEPLAY REVOLVES ONLY SEEING THE BUDGET IN MIND.
YES I DO MENTION THE FILM HAS GOOD MUSIC AND SOUNDS GOOD TO EARS .
NOTHING TO BOAST HIGH IN THE FILM.
KUDDOS TO THE PRODUCER TO INVEST IN THE CONCEPT WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN MADE WITH GOOD BUDGET AND HIGH STANDARDS.
MYFATHERIQBAL HAS BLEAK CHANCE AT THE BOX OFFICE.
I give 3*/5
