MADAARI FILM REVIEW 3/5

The film starts with the promo of Tannu weds mannu sequel. It did not appeal much to me.
Coming back to the film review of MADAARI, it could have been a wonderful film, if and only if the makers have bit more concentrated on the story.
The story somewhere faces easy writing in the second half. But strong performances and good direction has managed to somehow save the film.

Madari movie is a social thriller pertinent to the current political scenario in India.

A burgeoning nation of 125 crore people in which the powered call the shots. The relationship is symbolic of that between a madari (street performer) and jhamoora (sidekick).

The one holding the damroo (a small two-headed drum) of power makes the other dance to his tunes. But what if the damroo changes hands and lands in the hands of the common man? And those usually played around with take over the reins of the game?

It's an absolutely IRRFAN'S FILM. Irrfan has played his character with ease and gets laughter in the light scenes. His emotions do not manage to touch heart. His chemistry with the little guy is superb.
Jimmy shergil is good . Rest of the cast has performed well.
Coming to the
DIRECTION: NISHIKANT KAMAT is not up to his best here. This film could have been applauded all over the nation like the film nayak had done in the past.
Film becomes boring at times.

But the film is one time watch. Best would have been if it would have been released on 15th august with some very good promotion.
I am scared that the film might get a less response when the whole nation is still with the sultan fever.
I give this film 3/5.
